Viva the Latin American Art World! The Latin American Experience is a biannual event, and promises to be an evening full of culture, great food, music, fun, and the love of art — The Latin American way. The 2005 Inaugural gala represented a great success for the Latin American Art initiative at the MFAH, drawing an international crowd of artists, art collectors, art lovers and aficionados, not to mention a representation of our great local community. The live auction, conducted by Sotheby´s, saw twenty pieces of world-renowned Latin American art coveted by local and far away bidders. All proceeds benefit the Latin American Art Department. Reserved tables are available for $25,000, $10,000, $5,000 and Individual tickets for $1,000 and $500.
