The MFAH libraries maintain a broad selection of subscription databases as well as free online resources devoted to art research. Access to these resources is freely available to MFAH members, docents, and the general public in the reading rooms of both the Hirsch and Powell Libraries. Below is a selection of these resources. Saturday, 12 noon–5 p.m.

Monday, closed to visitors; service available by phone or e-mail
Hours and closures vary around holidays, including New Year’s, Martin Luther King Jr. Day, Easter, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, and Christmas. Call or e-mail for more details.
