Although tours are geared toward adults, children are also welcome to attend. No reservations are required. Free with Museum admission; free for Museum members.

Gallery Tours at Bayou Bend & Rienzi
Bayou Bend and Rienzi, the two MFAH house museums nestled in the historic River Oaks neighborhood, offer docent-led tours of the collections.
Choose a highlights tour or a more in-depth study tour of the Bayou Bend Collection of American decorative arts and paintings.

Lunch + Look
Drop in on a 1 p.m. weekday gallery talk as part of the Lunch + Look program. Make the MFAH your lunchtime retreat on weekdays and get in for free! Stop by Cafe Express or enjoy the varied cuisine at the daily food truck. Then bring your receipt to any admissions desk for free same-day general admission on weekdays between 12 noon and 2 p.m. and stay as long as you wish, until closing time.Top
Guided group tours, available for adult groups of 10 or more, encourage participants to look closely, to discuss observations, and to make connections between works of art. Each tour lasts about an hour and can be tailored to meet a variety of interests.Top
For a more self-directed learning experience, Museum audio guides offer a variety of seasonal tours developed and narrated by curators and conservators. Tour the MFAH art collections and temporary exhibitions at your own pace with audio guides, available for rent in the lobbies.Top
