How to Join the MFAH

Visit, Call, or Click! It's easy to join the MFAH or renew your MFAH membership.

Make the MFAH a part of your world by becoming a Member today. No matter what membership level you choose, your participation is essential. Your generous support helps the MFAH present major traveling exhibitions, sustain education and community outreach programs, build the permanent collection, and enhance the quality of life for all visitors.

Visit the MFAH

1. Visit the Museum to see the renowned MFAH art collections and exhibitions during regular hours, Tuesday through Sunday.

2. Join or renew your membership at the Membership and Guest Services desk in the lobby. When you sign up, you will be issued a temporary MFAH membership card, and your MFAH membership package will be sent to you by mail.*

3. Receive immediate free admission to the entire collection and most exhibitions.

4. Visit the MFAH often and enjoy all the benefits of belonging to one of America’s great art museums.

*Processing and delivery of membership packages takes approximately four to six weeks.

Call MFAH Membership Services

1. Call 713.639.7550 and a Museum representative can take your membership application over the phone and quickly complete the process. Your MFAH membership package is sent to you by mail.*

2. To visit the MFAH before receiving your membership package, bring your photo ID to the Museum during public hours. You will be given free admission to the entire collection and most exhibitions.

3. Visit the MFAH often and enjoy all the benefits of belonging to one of America’s great art museums.

Join Online

Start enjoying your membership benefits today!

1. Begin the renewal or join process online.

2. Pick the membership level that is right for you, add it to the cart, and use your credit card for payment. Your MFAH membership package will be sent to you by mail.*

3. To visit the MFAH before your membership package arrives, simply print and bring the confirmation sent to you at the conclusion of your online application process, and a photo ID.

4. Visit the MFAH often and enjoy all the benefits of belonging to one of America’s great art museums.
