The career of fashion photographer Courtney Bent takes an unexpected turn when she discovers a hidden world of beauty at a center for people living with disabilities. Bent invents cameras accessible to her new friends, and her efforts snowball into an award-winning photography program called Picture This, which is the backdrop for this story.
Courtney Bent is the founder and director of Picture This, an award-winning photography workshop for individuals with cerebral palsy and other physical disabilities. Bent has traveled to East Africa as the photographer for Globalearn.com, an educational website that aims to bring the world into the classroom. In the last few years, Bent has focused much of her work on producing and directing documentary films, and she continues to teach at the Charles River Creative Arts Program, one of the country's leading arts program for children.
