This Song for Jack (Directed by Robert Frank, USA, 1983, 30 min.) Robert Frank brought his camera to “On The Road: The Jack Kerouac Conference” at the Naropa Institute in Boulder, Colorado in July 1982. His behind-the-scenes perspective captured reminiscences of legendary figures including Allen Ginsberg, Gregory Corso, William S. Burroughs, Abbie Hoffman, Ken Kesey and  Edie Parker, Kerouac’s first wife. This Song for Jack was recently restored to celebrate the 30th anniversary of the conference the film documents.
