The story of the "second golden age" of Disney animation (1984-1994), told by the animators and studio heads who contributed to the triumphs of The Little Mermaid, Beauty and the Beast, and The Lion King.
"The movie turns from good to great as the layers are peeled away and director Hahn provides an insider´s look at the creative epicenter of the studio. A movie taken by a pre-Pixar John Lasseter shows the nerve center of the studio. Animators´ caricatures - some of them brutal depictions of Disney executives - are revealed to the public for the first time." —San Francisco Chronicle
