During 2009´s Latin Wave film festival, The Ballroom´s screenwriter was unable to attend; now he introduces an encore screening of this charmer about a dance hall in São Paolo, where couples meet to dance and recapture their youth.

Luiz Bolognesi is one of Brazil´s most award-winning screenwriters. He has written four feature films with international distribution. His films have received numerous awards in the United States, Europe, and Latin America.
