"Go inside the life and imagination of [sculptor] Louise Bourgeois (born 1911), an icon of modern art. Magnetic, mercurial, and emotionally raw, Bourgeois has been at the forefront of new art techniques, but always on her own terms. In 1982, she became the first woman honored with a major retrospective at New York´s Museum of Modern Art. Filmed between 1993 and 2007, the documentary builds to a searing climax, and then rebounds in joy and reconciliation."
