2010 Summer Internships Application Deadline: Monday, January 25, 2010
The Museum of Fine Arts, Houston offers five summer internships for undergraduate college students. Interns work full time for ten weeks from June 7 through August 13, 2010. Each student receives a stipend of $3,000. At the end of the summer, each intern will give an oral presentation to museum staff and write a paper on his or her project.
- Learn about careers in museums and about many aspects of museum operations.
- Work on a meaningful project under the guidance of an experienced professional.
- Develop mentor relationships with museum professionals who can advise and support you as you pursue your educational goals and career plans.
- Share experiences within the internship group.
