Make the museum your classroom with a school tour at the MFAH. All tours are free of charge and require registration three weeks in advance. Choose from the tour types below.

Guided Tours
Guided tours support classroom learning by applying curriculum concepts and promoting critical thinking. Led by MFAH gallery educators, students look closely at works of art and exchange ideas as they explore the museum’s collections.

Self-Guided Visits
Lead the museum experience yourself by registering your students for a self-guided visit. All visits are free of charge and require registration three weeks in advance.
