Enrich your homeschool curriculum with the world of art. These specially designed workshops include an interactive gallery tour with hands-on activities and group discussions, followed by an opportunity to create a related art project. All participants receive materials that can be used to extend the lesson at home. Families who need to bring children age 3 and younger should contact the family programs office at 713-639-7586.

Schedule
These two-hour workshops are held on the second Tuesday of the month, and you can choose either a morning session (10:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon) or afternoon session (1:00 to 3:00 p.m.).

Cost
$8 per family for MFAH members; $10 per family for nonmembers. If your family group is larger than one adult and three children, please contact the family programs office at 713-639-7586. General admission to the museum is always free for members. To inquire about need-based scholarships, please call or e-mail using the contact information below.

Registration
Online registration begins September 8 for the 2009–2010 school year. To ensure that space is available for new participants, please register for no more than five workshops.
