The gods and heroes of both Western and Eastern cultures are known today not only because of rich storytelling traditions, but also depictions by artists working in two and three dimensions. Hear grand stories of love and war, triumphs and defeats, miracles and tragedies, while standing before works of art from the museum’s diverse collections. Which significant moment in a mythological story did the artist choose to depict, and why?
