Sara Becker, assistant professor of Voice and Shakespeare at the University of Houston, is a vocal coach who has worked for major American theaters including the Alley Theatre, Oregon Shakespeare Festival, American Players Theatre, and Guthrie Theatre. Among her favorite projects: a touring production of "Henry V"; Kurosawa’s "Throne of Blood"; a Seamus Heaney adaptation of "Sophocles"; and a play about Vince Lombardi. Her work has traveled to BAM: The Brooklyn Academy of Music, the Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts, and the New Victory Theatre.
