Voilà! Sketching with Sunlight

Sunday, Mar 16, 2014
1 p.m. - 4 p.m.

Beck Building
5601 Main Street Map & Directions

In this special art-making activity inspired by The Age of Impressionism: Great French Paintings from the Sterling and Francine Clark Art Institute, families are invited to sketch works of art in the European galleries and explore how artists such as Edgar Degas, Claude Monet, and Pierre-Auguste Renoir used natural light in their works of art. An MFAH teaching artist is on hand with paper, pencils, and clipboards to get you started.
