Summer Mini-Conference for Teachers

At this annual two-day event, teachers attend sessions presented by artists and art educators on art-making, art history, and art education. Each session is based on works of art from the MFAH art collections and includes a studio component.

Meet in the lobby of the Law Building. Sessions are available on a first-come, first-served basis. Sign up for your preferred sessions on-site, beginning at 8:30 a.m. each day. Multiple workshops are repeated both days, with the opportunity to attend two 2.5-hour workshop sessions per day.

Admission is $65 per day. Educators may attend on one or both days. Tickets include materials, lunch, and a certificate of participation. Use the "Get Tickets" button above. For more information, call 713.639.7835.
