The sea was a source of particular fascination for J. M. W. Turner (1775–1851), famous for his powerful and expressive seascapes. Explore his dramatic marine paintings on this 20-minute gallery talk in conjunction with Rembrandt, Van Dyck, Gainsborough: Treasures from Kenwood House, London. Examples from both the exhibition and the MFAH collection are highlighted.
