1406 Kirby Drive Map & Directions

Rienzi opens its doors at sunset! Treat yourself to an engaging short lecture, an open-house tour of the collection, and social time over wine and bites.

"A History of Britain in Thirty-Six Postage Stamps"
Enjoy an evening with author Chris West as he explores the unique and fascinating tale of Great Britain through its postage stamps. West shows that stamps have always mirrored the events, attitudes, and styles of their time. See the epic tale of an empire unfold via 36 examples, from the famous Penny Black, printed two years after Queen Victoria’s coronation, to the Victory! stamp of 1946, anticipating the struggle of postwar reconstruction.

A reception before the lecture is included in admission. For more information, call 713.639.7800.
