Do you love learning and enjoy sharing knowledge with others? Do you have an interest in European art and Houston history? Are you looking for a rewarding volunteer opportunity?

If so, consider starting your new year with art as a Rienzi docent! In January 2013, Rienzi will be accepting a new class of docents. Attend this open house to learn about the program and training course. Prospective candidates will interview with the education staff, and those who are selected begin training in January. Classes meet once a week, January through March. New docents receive focused instruction from MFAH curators and educators who specialize in the Rienzi Collection and museum education. A two-year commitment is required.
