Celebrate the opening of the exhibition Portrait of Spain: Masterpieces from the Prado with a fun-filled Spanish street festival! Throughout the afternoon, enjoy samples of Spanish delights: tapas, wine, bread, and other delicacies. This daytime party also features dancers from Solero Flamenco; a Spanish guitarist; and festive Spanish décor.

Learn more about Spain from the cultural group La Casa de España de Houston, and try out your soccer moves with the Houston Dynamo. The crew from Sunny 99.1 FM is on-site from 1 to 3 p.m. giving away prizes, playing games, and more.

Get $10 off of an MFAH membership on this day only in person at the MFAH. Plus receive a FREE commemorative Portrait of Spain poster—not available in stores!

Plus, the entire family can enjoy a special art-making project, inspired by works of art in the exhibition.

Portrait of Spain: Masterpieces from the Prado opens to the public today, 12:30 to 7 p.m. (last admission at 6 p.m.). The street festival is FREE, but exhibition tickets are required (advance purchase recommended) for viewing the show.
