On the occasion of the joint centennial of Rice University and the Rice School of Architecture, as well as the Rice Design Alliance’s 40th anniversary, this lecture series addresses the future of architectural education and the potential impact on design practice and the built environment. The four lecturers explore the productive intersections between teaching, research, and professional practice, examining how education can shape future designers and, subsequently, the built environment itself.
