Navidad Latina: Celebrating the Holiday Music and Traditions of Latin America and Spain

Thursday, Dec 12, 2013
7 p.m. - 8 p.m.

Law Building, Lower Level
1001 Bissonnet Map & Directions

The Foundation for Modern Music presents the 3rd annual "Navidad Latina: Celebrating the Holiday Music and Traditions of Latin America and Spain" at the MFAH. A reception to meet the performers follows the program.

Unlike holiday celebrations in the United States, which are typically indoors and somewhat intimate, Latin and Spanish celebrations are often outdoors, filled with high-energy, rhythm-infused, danceable music—a reflection of the rich amalgamation of heritages in these cultures. "Navidad Latina" features an ensemble of artists from Cuba, Honduras, Mexico, Panama, the United States, and Venezuela.

Reserve your free ticket in advance! Click the "Get Tickets" button and use your own printer; call 713.639.7771; or visit any MFAH admissions desk.
