   • Create a work of art in the studio, using symbols from your own life, with textured papers, oil pastels, and tracing paper.
   • Sketch as you discover the language of saints in early European painting.
   • Listen to the sounds of Opera in the Heights performing music inspired by the day's theme of signs, symbols, and mysteries.
   • Watch a master calligrapher from Japan, Hiroko Suehiro, as she practices this beautiful art form filled with symbols.
