Bring your most excellent detective skills to the Museum and investigate new works of art every Thursday at the Summer Art Detectives program.

Gallery Investigations
Visit the Gallery Cart to investigate works of art from around the world with the help of looking activities, hands-on materials, and conversations with friendly MFAH educators. For each investigation you complete, you can earn a tool for your artist's toolbox—drawing pencils, Model Magic, and more!

To deepen your experience, sketch some of the art you see. Materials are provided.

Complete your day by watching a show! Throughout the summer, you can see a mix of music and dance performances designed for the entire family.

This Week's Theme Ancient Art Explorations
John M. Keahey's interactive presentation "Life in Classical Greece, 700 BC to 350 BC" (1:30 p.m.)
