Master Tours “The Age of Impressionism”

4:30 p.m. - 5:30 p.m.

After a grand world tour across nine cities, eight countries, and three continents, The Age of Impressionism: Great French Paintings from the Sterling and Francine Clark Art Institute makes its final stop at the MFAH. This spectacular exhibition showcases the Clark’s renowned holdings of 19th-century French painting by some of the most important Impressionist artists: Renoir, Degas, Monet, Cassatt, and many others.

Over three consecutive Mondays—when the Museum is closed to the public—take part in Master Tours, an exclusive series of in-depth events led by Museum art historians who share their expansive knowledge of the works on view in the exhibition. Each tour is an hour long and may be enjoyed as a single tour or enjoyed fully as a three-part series. After the tour, discuss your experience over a glass of champagne.

Tours may be purchased individually or as an entire series at a discount. Availability is limited, so advance reservations are encouraged and provided on a first-come, first-served basis.
