“Make Music” Day in Houston | Happy Hour Celebration

The MFAH joins venues throughout the city to celebrate “Make Music” Day in Houston. This international event takes place annually on June 21, the longest day of the year.

Bring your friends to the Museum for a festive happy hour party! Meet in the breezy covered driveway along the Main Street side of the Beck Building. Admission is free.

  • Tours of the extraordinary sculptures outside the Museum’s three gallery buildings, starting at 4:30 p.m., 5:15 p.m., and 6 p.m.

“Make Music” Day in Houston celebrations are coordinated by the Mayor’s Office of Cultural Affairs (MOCA).

About the Performers
The Jalen Baker Trio—the jazz ensemble-in-residence for the DaCamera Young Artist program—features Jalen Baker on vibraphone; Nils Aardahl on bass; and Gavin Moolchan on drums.
