The ancient trading route called the Silk Road wound its way through Islamic lands, encouraging a cultural exchange that provided artists with a diverse array of motifs, influences, and inspiration. On this 45-minute tour of Islamic art on view, including Arts of Islamic Lands: Selections from the al-Sabah Collection, Kuwait, explore the cross-cultural dialogue manifest in objects including rugs, vessels, funerary objects, calligraphy, and more.
