Little Art Adventures is a 30-minute program designed for children ages 3 to 5 and their adult companions. The experience includes a storybook circle, creative shape and color play, the creation of a simple art project, and an "In Search of . . ." activity sheet that families can use in the galleries together.

This program is held on selected Fridays throughout the year.

September Topic "Over the River and through the Woods with Cai Guo-Qiang's Odyssey"
Inspiration comes from Cai Guo-Qiang's monumental gunpowder drawing Odyssey, the 162-foot masterwork covering 42 panels lining the walls of the Ting Tsung and Wei Fong Chao Arts of China Gallery. Listen to the storybook The Squiggle by Carole Lexa Schaefer and discover how simple lines can create works of art. For the art project, explore how artists can be inspired by traditional art forms when creating works of art today. View Odyssey during an educator-led looking activity.
