John Singer Sargent called watercolor painting “making the best of an emergency,” perhaps referring to an unforgiving art form. Find new ways to paint and new uses for familiar techniques while exploring nearly 100 watercolors by one of the greatest American painters in the exhibition John Singer Sargent: The Watercolors.

About Teacher Workshops
