The Diana Garden at Bayou Bend serves as the lush backdrop for a 45-minute preview of Handel’s pastoral opera Acis and Galatea, presented in a new production by the Grammy-nominated Houston ensemble Ars Lyrica.

Admission includes one drink ticket. Bring your own chair or blanket to sit on the lawn and enjoy the performance. Call 713.639.7750 for more information.

Gates open at 5:30 p.m. for the 5:45 p.m. concert. The first floor of the mansion is open from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m..

In the event of rain, the concert will take place at Bayou Bend's Lora Jean Kilroy Visitor and Education Center. No outside food or drink is permitted on the grounds; photography in the house or of the concert event is prohibited.
