Known for his sophisticated oil portraits, 18th-century artist George Romney was also a gifted and innovative draftsman. Rienzi has several examples of his drawings, including a rare 1783 sketchbook. Join Dena Woodall, MFAH assistant curator of prints and drawings, for this gallery talk presented in conjunction with the exhibition Visions of Fancy: George Romney, 18th-Century Paintings and Drawings.
