Don’t miss your chance to kick back with fellow students and mingle amongst the masters at the Museum’s annual College Night!

Channel your creative energy at the art-making table, and get extra inspiration with a guided tour through For a New World to Come: Experiments in Japanese Art and Photography, 1968–1979. A food truck, DJ, and cash bar are on-site to round out this artsy evening.

Museum admission is free on Thursdays, and College Night features extra fun for students: 

  • 10% discount at The MFAH Shop with your student ID
  • Giveaway for a Museum gift package
  • Art-making activity, DJ, and drinks in the Beck Building
  • Architecture tour at 6:30 p.m. in the Law Building with Kelley Magill, university programs specialist
  • For a New World to Come exhibition tour at 7:30 p.m. in the Beck Building with Allison Pappas, curatorial assistant

Calling all college students!

Join fellow students from all over Houston and see what’s happening at the Museum. Check out the gorgeous exhibition The Age of Impressionism: Great French Paintings from the Sterling and Francine Clark Art Institute, then enjoy art-making activities, food truck bites, music, and drinks to round out your artsy evening. Activities are free and open to all!

The Age of Impressionism Admission

Exhibition admission FREE for students in the MFAH University Partnership Program:
     Rice University
     University of Houston School of Art*
     University of Houston-Downtown Department of Arts and Humanities*
     The Glassell School of Art
*Present both your valid University Partnership Program card and college ID for free entry.

Exhibition admission for students not in the MFAH University Partnership Program:
Half price ($6.25) with student ID
