Bayou Bend honors Miss Ima Hogg and her fellow Texas legends with a celebration of the Lone Star State! Performances, activities, and crafts pay tribute to diverse elements of Texas history such as the Alamo and the space program.

An amazing day of fun and entertainment awaits visitors to Bayou Bend Family Days. Activities, demonstrations, and performances abound throughout the home and gardens. Volunteers from the Houston Junior Woman’s Club host first-floor house tours. Plus, guests are treated to giveaways and promotions courtesy of the MFAH and media sponsor KUHF 88.7 FM.
