Calling all summer sleuths! Go on a summer scavenger hunt through the gardens at Bayou Bend.

Self-guided detective adventures feature educational themes ranging from plants and trees to sculpture and architecture. Every Bayou Bend detective receives an Investigator’s Kit as well as a bottle of water for keeping cool during the outdoor portion of the hunt. (Please note: Water must be checked prior to entering the house for indoor hunts; no food or drink permitted in the house.)

Detective Days are designed for ages 6 and up. Adventures take place Tuesday through Sunday. No reservations required. Admission is free for ages 12 and younger, and $5 for everyone else. An adult admission must accompany children 12 and younger. For more information, call 713.639.7759.
