Art Improv is held on select first Sundays throughout the year. Families will choose a work of art anywhere in the museum and make friends with it—spend time sketching it, writing about it, and talking about it together. Then, they will visit the studio, where there will be an assortment of materials to create a work of art inspired by the new "friends" and their own imaginations.
On that day, families can also choose a work of art to draw at Sketching in the Galleries or visit the Kinder Foundation Education Center to read a book together, check out a family pack, and more.

Visit the Kinder Foundation Education Center for refreshments to celebrate the debut of three new MFAH Family Packs and also learn about all the great family resources that are available for checkout.
